O-Zone

Project completion: 2018

Undertaken as the culminating endeavor of my A-Level DT course, this project attained a remarkable A* grade. It was commissioned with the specific objective of conceptualizing a building for the esteemed University of Kingston, a challenge that sparked my initial experience in architectural design. Envisaging a structure that fulfilled the prescribed requirements, the design comprised eight meticulously planned lecture halls on the ground floor and versatile multipurpose studio spaces on the first floor. To meticulously craft the model, I dedicated significant attention to detail, ensuring the utmost precision throughout. While AutoCAD served as a valuable tool in generating plans and facilitating the laser cutting and engraving of floor plates, the remaining components of the model were skillfully handcrafted. This comprehensive effort not only enriched my skill set but also bolstered my confidence as I prepare to embark on higher education in architecture.
