Ali Al-Siwife | Architectural Assistant | London

I consider myself a highly motivated architectural designer with a Bachelor's degree in Architecture (BArch) from the esteemed University of Huddersfield, where I graduated with an Upper Second. I am currently taking my Masters at the Manchester School of Architecture, in the CPU[AI] Atelier I am exploring my passion for computation, with my project being at an urban scale the complexity involved is a challenging yet enjoyable process. My passion for architecture has been cultivated through dedicated studies and valuable professional experience during my time at Simone De Gale Architects and as an intern at Manhal Habbobi Consultants. This exposure has significantly contributed to shaping my architectural interests.

In my approach to architectural design, I integrate my diverse interests in travel, culture, psychology, sustainability, and green living, all with the aim of enhancing communities. Notably, sustainability and eco-living have become central themes in many of my projects. Beyond the environmental aspect, I strongly emphasise the well-being of the inhabitants, meticulously considering factors like climate, natural light, and surroundings, which serve as the foundation of my design process.

Staying up-to-date with the latest architectural trends and advancements is crucial to me. I regularly browse architectural websites and dedicate time to learning new software to enhance my skill set. Additionally, I enjoy engaging in concept design exercises to explore novel ideas and refine my thought process. These exercises also provide an opportunity to apply and sharpen my graphic design skills.
